TICKIFY

Tickify is a platform for users to promote their events and sell tickets. The project was initiated by Fontys Venlo as a first project for the study Software Engineering and Business Informatics. The challenge was to create a fully functional web application, that was also visually appealing. The result is a web application running on PHP, serving HTML & CSS pages.

WIREFRAMES

In order to get an idea on what screens would be required and how the user would interact with them, the team created wireframes before starting on the actual development.

MOODBOARD

An important part of creating a web application, is to define the right colors. To transfer the right feelings to the user, the team created a moodboard, which easily gave an impression of the website's look and feel.

THE RESULT

A system where users can easily create events, share them with interested people, and buy tickets for said events. The analysis and design was vital to bring a good user experience.

FRONTEND

MENTOR

Frontend mentor is a service that helps you develop your front-end skills. The goal of this project was to learn more about positioning in css and to practice with an already given web-design.

BUTTONS 1

Animations are often used in web applications to draw a users attention or to guide them through the web application. The challenge of this project laid in starting with a topic with which I had never come in contact before. The goal of making the buttons below was to dive into css-animations and therewith learn how to apply them to buttons.

BUTTONS 2

For a more complex animation a look was taken on dribbble The challenge in developing this button was that the animation had multiple steps on different elements. This was done with a goal of getting myself more familiar with css-animations.

Note: for the best experience, make sure your screen is at least 430px wide.

P2P

TRADING

The project owner of this P2P Trading application is still developing this application. I got the opportunity to make the main components of the pages above. The challenge in this work was that the project was already set-up and I had to work with someone else's environment and code (Angular).
